Steam Radiator (like a modern warming drawer)

Options

This looked like a cool radiator to share.

Saw these at Ft Hancock in NJ on Sandy Hook. These are in a former officers home built in 1898. Im not a steam mechanic Im a carpenter who has done his best to pay attention to the steam guys who work on homes that I work in. These are for me the fanciest and most functional I have seen. Really amazing.

It was near 0⁰F below zero with the windchill facing Raritan Bay yesterday when I was visiting this home turned museum. Single pane glass unlikely that walls have insulation but it was warm inside. Every room was comfortable.

Steam heat and these beautifully designed and built radiators. Incredible.

Here are few of them.

They are beautiful systems both aesthetically and functionally when correctly setup.

Looks like someone nicely sandblasted and painted those radiators… Or they saw so little paint by the Army that they didn't need sandblasting. Nice stuff!
