Putting a new spin on this module "Pumping Away" Heating Module that Dan showed page 59 & 61 of "Pumping Away" 1994!

1)This single valve gives you isolation on the inlet side of the circulators. Additionally isolating the fill valve for service or replacement.

2) By reversing the handle on the valve the purge port opens to one or the other side of the main shut off ball valve.

3) System one and only purge point

4) Allows you to drain off

pressure or fluid from waterlogged tank

5) The purge valve being a ball valve style would be access for pumping in cleaners or conditioners.

6) Applicable to heat pumps or ay other equipment.

It is a valve that would be wise to excercise occasionally, so it is usable when needed.
