Weil-McLean SGO-3 boiler won't drain

I attached a hose to the spigot on the lower right bottom side of the front of the device, and nothing came out. I blew into the hose and could hear water bubbling inside the boiler. How is this possible? I even fired it up to offer some pressure….NOTHING! This friend of mine has probably never done it so Expect much sediment, but by blowing and hearing bubbles, you would think it would disrupt a clog enough to offer at leas a couple ounces. Only a few drops. **** LOL anybody ever witnessed such physics defying BS?

    If you add water to the boiler ,does the level rise in the gauge glass ? You may have a collection of solids in your boiler caused by lack of maintenance and steam leaks …

    Sounds like its time to wash that thing out. I would attach the drain to a hose and hook the other end to a water supply pipe, water heater drain or hot or cold water.

    Don't let any boiler water get into the potable water. Blast it a few times with water pressure then drain and refill and rinse and repeat a few times.

    Not good for the boiler to have mud on the heat exchanger surfaces this can lead to a failed boiler,
