smart valve 9541 pilot issue
I had flame rollout sensor trip on my furnace and it seems the pilot flame is way too large which is rolling up to the cabinet flipping the sensor. The burners fire directly into the exchanger with no issues but the pilot flame is the issue. The flame ignitor and sensor work fine. I cleaned the pilot apparatus and still the flame is too large. I then adjusted the pilot flame screw and turned it right down and there was no change in the 5 inch flame. Is this a pilot tube assembly issue or the gas valve problem? Any thoughts would be appreciated

Any work been done on the gas lines? Did you clean the pilot so any air onenings in it are clear? Short of air may make the pilot flame look larger. Can you post some pictures? Is the flame blue or yellow?

NO changes, blue flame . Pilot orifice seems clear. Should the pilot adjustment be able to turn it right down as it changes nothing. Like its running wide open all the time. I read the pilot can corrode getting wider than it should
