Paneltrol mixing valve

can a paneltrol mixing valve cause the piping to shake, rattle on the circuit that it’s on? I have a customer that has a hot water boiler set to 140 degrees, and after about 5-10 minutes of run time the circuit it’s on starts rattling the piping, the only way I can get it to stop is to partially close the return shutoff valve back at the boiler for that circuit.

By throttling the return, its forcing more to the cold on the mixing valve. The boiler is set to 140°, or the mix is set to 140°? Is the temperature at the mix correct after 5-10 minutes when things start shaking?

The boiler is set to 140. I will have to check the temp at the mixing valve, I did not check it when there, I will be returning next week to make other repairs and I will check mixing valve temps. I am not sure what the mixing valve temp is suppose to be, the tag on the adjustment screw is corroded up and is not readable.

what type of boiler? 140 could be pretty low to run a conventional boiler, you may experience some condensation if the return is below 130?
