Can anyone figure out why my Purefire makes banging noises while igniting. I have a video but site won’t allow me to download

    When was the last time it was serviced?

    Look at the swirl plate for signs of deterioration. And like EBEBRATT said definitely do a combustion test.

    Could also be a venting issue. Any condensate looking in a horizontal section of the vent pipe will cause it. Maybe something nesting in the vent pipe. Could be poor condensate drainage. Most of the time it's either a bad igniter or the combustion isn't set up correctly. It's critical set the combustion up in minimum and maximum firing rate per the specifications in the installation manual.

    thanks for the comments. It only happens when it’s cold. I am trying to find a Peerless pure fire boiler specialist

    That boiler has one of the simpler interfaces. Get it running and compare combustion numbers to Peerless specs. Go from there.

    why would it ignite ok when system is hot? already had someone here and they cleaned it and adjusted warming speed with no results

    more draft when it is hot. you have some sort of a combustion issue.
