Rinnai i120sn condensing boiler flush

I have a rinnai condensing boiler and also a rinnai tankless water heater.

With summer here, I flushed my tankless water heater the recommended way and guess yearly is a good routine? My question is should the condensing boiler flush be done yearly also? And if so any different suggestions?
This past winter was the first using the condensing boiler ( worked well after alot of apprehension since I installed it and redid the piping myself).

boilers work best when they have no leaks and never get the fluid changed unless there is something wrong with that fluid such as old or cooked glycol. You do however want to service the burner, typically annually or every other year. I like to do a burner service after the first heating season personally to make sure everything seems normal. Part of that service in my opinion should be cleaning the burner, flushing the condensate trap, checking the neutralizer if installed, checking the static fill pressure to make sure it is still in range (no leaks) visual inspection of the cabinet, visual inspection of the vent system, visual inspection of the piping system dynamic/static gas pressure checks and a combustion test making adjustments if needed. It looks like a lot of stuff but really cleaning the burner is what will take time, the rest is just making sure everything is still normal or in range, maybe an extra 45 minutes or so tops unless something is off.

There is no reason to ever "flush" a boiler unless the entire system is boogered up enough to also require a flush. The fire side should be serviced routinely, but that is not exactly a "flush" as it requires some disassembly and scrubbing.

did you flush and clean the boiler when it was installed?

Is it filled with tap water? Does the water meet the Rinnai spec

I like to run a cleaner through a new install, flush and fill with good water per the spec
