Grundfos internal checks

A wise decision, it is easier to install than un-install theses checks. They are not always needed, or desired either.

We have been installing the Viega rebranded Grundfos 15/58…26/99 (Black) which did not have the check installed.. The check needed to be purchased seperately !

As you said …It's easier to install vs. to uninstall these Check valves.

BTW …The Viega rebranded circs are less $. 😉

I can't get them out without breaking them .. I am thinking Grunfo came without the check installed on the side .. I could be wrong ..

There was an error rendering this rich post.

Still better than when the IFC was first introduced by Taco with the check in the volute. Good idea packaged separately but in the box if needed.

like it mentions, the alpha always had it separate.

The Alpha series, the UP26 series, and the 15-58F all come with the checks separate from what I've seen so I was wondering what they were thinking by installing them in the FC. Hopefully they start putting a rubber band around the covers on them too like they do for the F series. Far too many broken speed selector shafts from loose covers.

I think pretty much all the PSC type circs will disappear in the next few years. Is 2026 now the timeframe, although it keeps moving.

This is why you see all the circ manufacturers coming out with more and more ECM versions.
