We just finished this boiler replacement job. The 30 yr. old Laars Mini-Therm started leaking and replaced it with this floor-mounted Lochinvar. It's not my prettiest job, but - surprisingly - we had no leaks. Well, there was one and it was at the factory brazing joint for the tridicator and - surprisingly - it went away.

Is the gas coming from 2 different meters, is that why it comes to the same spot from 2 different directions?

No, just one meter. I don’t know why they did it that way.

We had the same thing with the Leak on the brazed joint…
The thing that made it a challenge to fix it was that everthing was pressed and in a thight spot…The factory did not stock this part and it was out for 4 weeks…Had to cut it out, put it in a tub of water so we did not burn out the gaskets and rebraze this joint.

could just cut it out and sweat or press in an ordinary tee and npt adapter.

@Alan (California Radiant) Forbes
looks like your working in tight spaces. Tough.

On hindsight, a wall-mounted boiler would have gives us more room.

The job looks fine. Gotta love those factory leaks. Especially when they heal on there own and stop leaking.
Nice job.
