In my aqua balance boiler system there are these aluminum type radiators either the homeowner or the installer use these rubber hoses to connect the supply hot water lines, is this normal or was he just lazy?

i'd be equally concerned about the cpvc. some kickspace heaters came with automotive heater hose but the hose isn't oxygen barrier and the cpvc isn't really rated for heating temps.

And it looks like something has been dripping with water stains on the wood.

Everybody knose a rubber hose with a hose clamp needs to be tightened periodically, especially where the temperatures go from extremely hot to extremely cold, this mess was hidden in a wall above a cabinet with no access and there's three more clamps just like it!

What do you plan on replacing those rubber hoses with?

I don't have any idea what I will replace the rubber hoses with. I'm open to suggestions!
