As much as I would prefer to buy local, the selection around here is pretty sparse. Try shopping overseas. I've used something pretty close to this before:

It looks better in white but as always, beauty in the eye of the beholder :)

The nice part about this type of design is you can slide the towels off and it sits pretty close to the wall so it doesn't take up much space.

I believe Runtal makes towel bar heaters. Made in U.S. There are plenty of Euro versions. Available from QHT Ecostyle.

Thank You ! I'm going cross eyed looking at all that's available! none have mentioned BTU or delta T until all your suggestions

For some reason, we don't install many towel warmers and when we do, they are usually Runtal's because I recommend them. I think they're ideal for bathrooms and kitchens and they have many sizes to choose from depending on BTU requirements.

Proper placement is important. A little higher and they could have fit the toilet paper dispenser in. : )

    8.33 lbs./gal. x 60 min./hr. x 20°ΔT = 10,000 BTU's/hour

Two btu per sq ft for degree difference for a slab

That's a beauty. I wish it was made for one-pipe steam. Not sure what kind of system the OP has.

My solution was to get a big (36") double towel bar and hang it directly above the existing radiator.

BTW, I have two Castrads radiators that I'm very happy with. Their service was great.

We have an electric Runtal. Are you looking for a hot water/steam/electric radiator? The electric ones will use a lot of juice, and our rates are high. If you want to heat the whole bathroom, electric resistance will almost certainly be the most expensive to operate, but probably be cheap to install. I believe Runtal also sells a control box that can be used to set a timer/schedule.
