Permanently Capping/Sealing a Radiator Pipe

I'm removing a radiator that's uselessly inside a kitchen cabinet. The floor is open and I can drain the system, disconnect the supply valve and return elbow, and cap the threaded pipes permanently. What's the best sealant to use if I never need that branch again? A sealant like RectorSeal or Blue Monster? Teflon tape? Something I've never heard of?

Teflon tape, slic tite or other pipe dope is fine.

Trying to squeeze the best out of a Weil-McLain JB-5 running a 1912 1 pipe system.

The brand names you mention above are what you want to use. They're fine.
