    A buffer tank is the right way to do it. some combination of a slab thermostat and a room thermostat, the slab t-stat calls the boiler, the room t-stat shuts it down if it is overheating the room is the odeal way to control it.

    usually the radiant is the base load and the radiators make up if the floor can't keep up or someone opens an outside door or something. a ci boiler without a buffer tank isn't the most efficient way to supply this when there is only a small amount of radiant.
