Vxt120 Water Feeder display stuck at 0000

Last year my new VXT120 Water Feeder display read water usage normally. At the end of the season, I reset the display to 0000. This season, while the boiler water level is being maintained, the display still reads 0000. The reset switch has a firm click so I don't think it is stuck in a closed position. Any ideas why the feed counter is stuck at 0000?

My understanding is the VXT is basically a timer. The orifice size and average water pressure deliver about a gallon per minute. It is not like other flow metering for trade. So if the valve is open for one minute your boiler receives about a gallon of water. The display is basically a minute counter.
It is a microcontroller based device, have you tried powering it down for a minute or so, in case it is just glitched ?
There was another thread that Capacitor C7 (I think) was bad, I do not remember the symptoms.
If not just glitched, in your case I suspect there is something wrong with the electronics. Is it still under warranty ?

Maybe your system is tight and right…
Take a few buckets and watch the clock …
There was an error rendering this rich post.

I'll try power cycling first.
Last season the boiler used 10gal. Stands to reason this season should be similar.
