Smallest (in actual size) Vents

I apologize if this has been asked before - I searched and searched but it seems anytime someone is referring to size in regards to vents, it’s for the size of the opening that connects to the radiator. My question is about the literal length of the whole vent.

I have a tiny bathroom radiator with a tiny vent to match (Varivalve). Unfortunately, the little guy no longer breathes reliably, even after soaking him in vinegar. Are there any other equally small vents I can buy, or am I stuck getting another Varivalve?

Varivalves are the shortest vertically. There may be others with a similar horizontal projection from the radiator.

Seems that about 60% of Varivalves don't fail. Good luck.

IS it extension out from the radiator that is the problem? Close to a wall? The MoM probably hug the radiator closest.

Maybe post a picture, I have done little extensions here and there using different fittings for different reasons, like to use a vertical vent where a horizontal one would have been typically used. You may be able to rig something up. Varivalve would be my last choice for vent but if it worked before it will work again.

you can probably use some combination of ells and street ells of 90 degree and 45 degree and nipples and a straight vent to get the vent tapping to someplace you can fit the vent. you could even use a compression fitting and a piece of 3/8" copper tubing to form something.
