No pilot gas on slant vsph120

I replaced gas valve. Jumped pressure switch and flame roll out switch. Still no pilot gas. I disconnected tubing to verify.

Is the gas valve a standing pilot valve or electronic ignition valve? Valve part number or picture please

440535 part number. Electric ignition

It appears that your SlantFin VSPH120 should have a electronic ignition valve. You need to find out if there is 24 volts getting to the valve. if the control transformer is dead, no amount of jumper wires will create 24 volts from a dead transformer.
Next thing is once you determine that the 24 VAC transformer is operating properly, you need to put 24 VAC directly to MV/PV and PV terminals to see if the valve opens. This test is best completed with the gas valve in your hands. If it is connected to gas and there is a problem, you don't want gas to be flowing when it does not ignite. Once you have the valve in your hand you can try to blow through the inlet and you should not be able to. Then put 24 VAC on the MV/PV and PV terminals and you should be able to blow through the valve inlet and get air out of the pilot port. The next test is to place 24 Volts to MV/PV and MV to see if the main valve opens.
I do not recommend that a DIY do this test using any flammable gas while the valve is connected to the system. Too many things can go wrong.

Thanks for the help. I will try this tomorrow. I did not test the transformer. That maybe the problem.

Read my tag line. this is what i would ask my employees when they recommended an expensive repair, If they answered with a lower cost repair, I would tell then to try the lower cost repair first. Before you replace any more parts, check with me to see how to test it before you just fire the parts cannon at your heater

I tested the transformer and 26 volts jumped control valve and gas from pilot and main burner

Hooked everything back up, jumped pilot, pilot lit main burner came on and now have heat. I do have to leave the jumper on to stay running. So I'm lead to believe the boiler control is bad. Is this correct?
