Radiant actuators thermostat wiring
Hello,
Do I have this wiring correct to control 2 radiant zones, pex manifold with 5 circuits (3 &2 each) ?
W/M 97+ call for heat is contact ( no voltage)
boiler will control system circulator, thermal actuators require 24v (n/c) to open
I do have Diff bypass valve to compensate for time delay of end switches
Thanks in advance,
JP

Looks right. are you having a problem? Assuming the top circle is a 120 VAC primary to 24 VAC volt secondary transformer rated at 50 VA

After you make that expensive repair and you still have the same problem, What will you check next?

thanks for quick response Ed, I had it different (new install, have not fired up yet) and knew it did not look right. Yes, it is boiler transformer: 50 VA 120 p/ 24v secondary. Boiler can't use much for itself I would think.

What boiler is equipped with a 50 VA transformer? What is the brand and model number on the rating plate? what else is connected to the transformer?

Weil McClain 97+70CT, just boiler internals

A relay box is another option. With thermal actuators, the inrush current is what you want to calculate with. If all 5 called on at the same time for example.
6 Va is a common thermal actuators x 5= 30va transformer.
