Backflow test cock leaked
Hi there,
After a backflow test one of the test cocks leaked a few drips. The technician who did the test said that everything passed and that it would be a good idea to either replace or just cap the test cock that had the drips. The technician submitted to the city that the check valve leaked and failed the test. What do I have to get done to rectify this? Figured I would ask here before hiring someone else to come take a look.
Should the test report say the check valve leaked failing the test due to the test cock leaking a few drips? Should the technician have at least told me that it failed instead of saying it passed then reporting it failed? Confusing situation.

odd that he would state the check leaked when it was a test cock? Maybe call him back to clarify? Maybe a typo?
