Steam heat radiator rattling - not banging
I live in a big pre-war apartment building rental. The super put in a (new?) radiator this summer. Now we're in winter - it doesn't
leak, doesn't spit water, doesn't bang - gratefully - but it rattles! The sound is in the entire radiator so I don't think it's a loose screw. What could this be? He's not a plumber so I want to gather info before asking him if there's any resolution.

is that valve all the way open? lefty loosey(counterclockwise) as you look down on it? it should be on 1 pipe systems.
or can you determine the rattle is coming from the vent?
maybe use a screw driver or dowel of wood as a stethoscope probe, tip to the vent or valve, handle to your ear, listen to the vent, and to the valve, which is it?
are you otherwise happy with the heat you get from the rad? I ask because the vent should usually be mounted 1/3 to 1/2 up from the floor for better heat, you can see where the casting is for the vent,
but if the heat is good to ok, then don't bother worrying about that,
