Argo switch relay priority zone time inconsistent

I have a 6 zone Argo relay switch panel with a priority serving the indirect water boiler (Boiler Mate). The priority red light comes on but not for the 30 minutes as required (more like 8-10), but still calls heat for the boiler mate. Thus it ends up sharing with the other zones calling for heat way before the 30 minutes.(this cycle does repeat). This ends up taking forever for the boiler mate to recover.

    How old is the relay panel? You could make your own priority with a RIB relay and Time delay relay.

    the panel is about 23 years

    You can get the exact same panel, or any 6 zone panel. If you get another Argo, save some of those cube relays.

    I appreciate your help. Our HVAC technician recommended replacing it entirely as well. I just wanted to be sure the problem lies with the panel, or if there would be some other reason why the priority wouldn’t run a full 30 minutes.

    My guess is that the timer on the ARGO has failed. time for a new relay. Caleffi or Taco are my preferred controls. Not a fan of the Erie control.
