Minimum Temp with 4Way Mixing Valve?
What is a realistic minimum temp I can send out to a radiant manifold with a 4 way mixing valve on a CI boiler?

looking at this cutaway view of a mix valve, if the vane was rotated left, the return temperature would just circulate back out. The controller could open the valve any amount to get a temperature mix up, as long as it has a supply of warmer water. So the lowest temperature would be the return temperature.
With an actuator and control, the ODR curve could start the mixed temperature at any point
70 degree SWT on a 70 degree ambient is where this example starts

Thank you. I am beginning to get my head around this.
The reason I ask is the shoulder seasons. Currently we use our "scorched air", I love this description!, during these seasons. Then we start up the boiler when cold weather settles in.
