General Society of Mechanics & Tradesmen of the City of New York
I would gladly donate this radiator to them if they’d have it. It looks to me like the late 1800’s and in great condition.including the ornate, brittle cast iron top. I’m not sure I’d be willing to donate to another. I was once a 19 year old kid in trade school. I stripped multitudes of paint layers from it. We carried that down from a church balcony built in the mid century 1800s. I packaged it before for a cross country trip and I could do that once again with the help of Barb’s sons. Can someone with connections check on that for me?

The Society wouldn’t be willing to pay for the shipping but it’s a great offer, Steve. We’re also at no shortage of old radiators. Surely there’s a home for that beauty though. Thanks for thinking of us.

@Mad Dog_2 I’m going to move this over to Buy, Sell, Trade so as not to tie up traffic here. It’s cold out there and people need heating help. Give me a few minutes.
