I completed an intensive 4-day training class at Aerco (Watts) last week and it took me three days to recover. If you've never been, they've got a fantastic training facility and the instructors are brilliant. It was a pleasure meeting them and the other 11 talented boiler techs in the program. What a great opportunity to learn from each other.

Looks like Riello & Weishaupt burners.

I don't see the pigtail as a thing. Just don't like the way it looks.
What's the difference? Water is water.
If you piped a little drop header like some do instead of using pigtails it the same thing. All you need is a water seal.
Still I prefer the pressure control and gauge up high and not down in the water. Less pipe to get mucked up.
Put em up real high like the @Mad Dog_2
