Radiator not heating completely
Hi all,
I have a radiator that is suddenly not heating all the way across. It's a small antique radiator, 36" high, 5 sections, in a first-floor bathroom. At first I suspected the air vent, but when I remove it don't feel the air pushing out when the boiler is running. The radiator is tilted back toward the feed side, as it should be, and the steam valve was replaced a few years ago, so I'm a little at loss for what else it could be. Eventually the sections on the valve side will get hot, but the section farthest from the feed only gets kind of warm. I have a single pipe steam system with about a 30-year old gas-fired boiler in good condition, and the rest of the radiators are all heating fine as they always have. It's a little concerning since this is a second home and I'm not here much in the winter, and obviously there is a lot that can go wrong in the winter if there's no heat in a bathroom!
Thanks for any help

It may help a steam pro (not me) help you if you can post some basement piping pics of the riser back to the main and the vent on the main.
