Perhaps you could convince one of the experts to travel over the summer to figure out what is going on.
Are there wet returns? The additive getting diluted in wet returns is the only way I can explain the color fading without losing water when the system was new.
It isn't somehow getting products of combustion in to the system and making carbonic acid or something like that, is it? Somehow when the system cools it is pulling in products of combustion?
