Rinnai 551F flame window gasket

Hi everyone:

I have an old 551F Energysaver LP heater in our bedroom, and while trying to diagnose a flame sense issue I managed to break apart the gasket for the flame viewing window. The manual has it listed as PN 551F-126, but I can’t find any replacements online.
Anyway, would it be worth trying to track down an OEM replacement or would some high temp Permatex suit the job? I don’t have a temp gun handy to see how hot the combustion chamber wall runs, but I can check tomorrow. Figured someone on here might have dealt with the same issue.

    That model has been discontinued for years and no parts are available from Rinnai. As far as high temp silicone, it's your life. Their current model is a direct replacement.
