Combustioneer oil furnace

I had this in my old house about 10 years ago and it's been in my garage ever since. Ive cleaned it pretty good and I'm going to hook it up and have 2 questions

Can I run the pipe out the back and elbow it straight up through my metal roof where I had a existing pot belly diesel burner installed? What thickness? When in my house it ran horizontally out.

Second, 2 part,

can I run diesel in this unit instead of fuel oil? And do I need a dampener? I don't remember having one when it was in my old house...

Thanks for the help!!

Diesel is the same grade as fuel oil , you must be a trucker :). You need a draft regulator and a vertical rise on the venting

There was an error rendering this rich post.

I would download the venting instructions from the MFG. You probably need type L metalbestos pipe at least where it penetrates the roof
