I am having a thermostat/controller problem.

My System:

Weil Mclain WTGO Series 4 Oil Fired Water. Tankless water heater. Single zone; single circulator.

Beckett Oil Burner AFG SN; 210927-05015

Hydrostat model 3250-plus.

Honeywell digital round thermostat 

thermostat/controller problem. 

The recently replaced Hydrostat model 3250-plus has been just fine until this morning I noticed the house much warmer than usual. I went to adjust the thermostat but the thermostat display is OFF and no thermostat adjustment is available. I replaced the thermostat with exactly the same model and no improvement. The other Hydrostat functionality seems to be working okay.

The Situation.

The Honeywell digital thermostat does not display. Display Off. Heat Adjustment not available.

At the boiler; there is a constant call for heat.

The only way I am ending the call for heat is to remove the thermostat from its base.

The thermostat is connected to the TT terminal.
