Water Expansion for Dunkirk Q90-100 Boiler Vibrating

The expansion tank below for my Q90-100 Dunkirk Boiler is vibrating when the boiler is running. The vibration stops temporarily when I place my hand against it. Expansion tank is 14 years old. I would like to replace it myself, but I'm not sure what to order as there is nothing on the tank as far as model number or manufacturer. The tank width is approximately 11 inches and the height is approximately 13 inches. Please advise.

    Hello dksagun,

I'd only replace it if it is proven defective, a compromised diaphragm. I suspect the pipes it is suspended from may need more support.

Haven't had any issues with this installation for the past 13 years prior to this year. Could there be air in the system causing the vibration?

I wonder if the tank is just transmitting the sound from the boiler or circulator? I don't know of anything inside the tank that could cause the vibration?

If the boiler has an inducer fan, those are a common place to find vibration starting. Something stuck in the fan, broken vane??

Or the burner itself out of calibration.
