Replacing Beckett 7505b-1500

I recently had my Beckett genesis 7505B 1500 fry due to a power surge or low-voltage incident. At any rate, it was determined to be faulty and I have replaced it with a resideo R7284 programmable control. In my small rural area in British Columbia Canada I cannot get any plumber to service my oil furnace. Cowards. My set up is as follows:

an old Esso Ultimatic furnace with a Beckett AFG burner on one side with a heat exchange flowing through a wood furnace on the other side. Wood and Oil share a chimney flue with a barometric damper on the wood side before the two pipes join. I’ve replaced the Beckett genisys unit with the resideo r7284 and everything seems to be working fine.. just wondering about fine tuning the

valve on delay - presently set at 15 seconds

Ignition trial - presently set at 15 seconds

Burner off delay - presently set at zero seconds… Is this the same as post purge?

TT config on - presently set to “no”

spark in on delay - presently set to “yes“

Sparkling run – presently set to “no”

Allowed resets - presently set to “3”

. My Beckett had a 15/ second pre-purge, zero post and a 15 second lockout. It seems like most people recommend the pre-purge and motor off delay. Just curious for some sound advice on these parameters

Burner off delay is post purge. 15-30 seconds are typical settings.
