Can you turn off prioritizing dhw on viessman vitodens 200
We recently moved into a house with a vitodens 200, when we set our temp to say 22 the air will go on and off especially after a shower, we live in a cold climate and hate that. We have gotten it serviced many times so there is no problem with it. But if we set the temp it won't stay constant and will be off for a bit before turning on. Is there any way to turn off they silly feature

Since your boiler has a 130+ page manual there is a lot of information in there. Pages 13 to 33 are dedicated to the control and how to set it up. Page 40 thru 88 have more control setup and control trouble shooting procedures. With this much reading in order to set up your boiler's control system, it is no wonder that the average service tech does not want to get into those adjustments. The only thing I can think of to solve your issue is to call the technical support people at Veissman and ask then if they know how to solve your problem.

You can use the DHW time program set the time of day you want the DHW to stay heated, mind you it won't heat the tank at all during the "off" time, single tank heating mode to just heat the tank once a day, or depending on how it is piped you can just not use their control and set the boiler mate up as a zone. You could get a standalone tank or tankless water heater and then the two systems are totally separate. I don't see a lot of hydronic air handler systems up here but with in-floor and baseboard systems I have never heard a complaint about the boiler prioritizing DHW, in fact older systems spent extra money on relay panels to get DHW priority.
