Thumping noise
I have a thread on here from a couple years ago about getting a new furnace. It was piped wrong and I haven’t had the money to get it piped the right way yet. My question is this year after firing up the furnace everything fired up and worked as normal. But fit some reason I have a noise coming from one radiator it sounds like someone isstomping there foot on the floor. Any help would be appreciated.

Best guess it’s expansion noise. A metal pipe is rubbing against wood and causing the noise. If it’s that, either shift the radiator around a bit so the pipe isn’t touching wood, or use pieces of milk jug cut to fit and placed between the metal and wood. That will allow things to slip and not make noise.

I’ll check things around the pipes and radiators thank you!
