Dunham Air Eliminator

During a service call for a pilot assembly issue I was looking at the Dunham Air Eliminator and was trying to find more info on this one. It's a two pipe vapor system in a carriage house circa 1920s when the house was built. Subbasement. The air vents need to be addressed, but with a few calls stacked up and a weekend getaway planned I'll have to circle back next week. Anyone have more info on the air eliminator? There are some pics. Yes, the near boiler pipe is not ideal lol. I have a repipe job on another boiler next week, so this one is going to have to be squeezed in if time allows. Unfortunately some of these systems in Detroit have been butchered, but it's nice to see people wanting to restore the houses and fix things the right way!

All those air vents need to be upgraded. The largest one is the rust-stained green one (Hoffman #75) but even that is likely too small.

How long are the steam mains, and what pipe size?

    What model boiler is that?

@Steamhead I have some Gorton 2 on order, the supply house was out. The main was 3" I want to say the total main was around 70-80 feet give or take. The boiler is a PEG112EID. I was pressed for time yesterday and just was able to get the heat back on and some steam moving to warm the upstairs apartments to keep the plumbing from freezing.

Plan is to circle back next week do a EDR calc and check the load, change the venting. I was more curious on that model Dunham air eliminator, as I haven't seen that one before. All the houses in this particular area have vapor systems. The main house at one point had pneumatic thermostats in each room room, but was abandoned.
