Boiler Keeps Shutting Down
Why does my boiler keep shutting down after it reaches the set temperature on the thermostat? I replaced the round Honeywell thermostat twice in one moth thinking it was a problem with the thermostat. This is a basic thermostat with no batteries. The actuator was replaced in the last month on the boiler too. I have baseboard heat and have no problems with water pressure in the house. No one can figure out what’s causing this problem as I had two different HVAC companies out. Thanks.

Not nearly enough information. Oil or gas? Atmospheric or condensing, or Direct vent, or power vent?
You're saying once the thermostat makes temperature and the boiler shuts off, the next time the thermostat calls for heat the boiler won't come on? And 2 companies couldn't figure it out? Where are you located?

Yes not enough information. What do you do or what has to happen to get it heating again?
