Peekskill, NY - any steam boiler specialist in the area?

Hi!

Anyone can recommend steam heat boiler specialist in Peekskill, NY area?

Me pressuretrol is set to 2 (with differential set to 1.5) but my boiler doesn't shut down until the room reaches the temperature set by the thermostat. At that time boiler' pressure gauge is showing 9 psi. From reading this forum it seems most-likely culprit is clogged pigtails (we just bough the house and the boiler hasn't been maintained since 2021).

Any recommendations?

Yes have the boiler serviced. at least have the pigtail and LWCO serviced and combustion checked. I have no recomendations in the area. Call a few local plumbing supply houses and described your system and maybe they can recommend someone.

The high pressure may have ruined your radiator and main vents. Once you get the pressure down to normal, check them all to see that they vent air and close against steam.
