    I've never seen a Pinnacle in real life.

    Lol, I just installed a NOS PI-T50 for a landlord., brand new from 2007. I also have a PI 210 New old stock from 2010.

    That crack was not from normal use, probably froze or the water flashed to steam and the relief valve was bad.

    Agree the Peerless was / is a cheap knock off of Munchkin or whatever brand they choose to copy. I have two Peerless boilers taken out working stored in the warehouse (why I can't remember. They fail overtime and in most cases from condensate rotting out the bottom of the boiler condensate collection area. The original Peerless Munchkin knock off boilers, lacked any turn down. The control board included a temperature knob that I found most times was set to 170-190 degrees, not a good temperature to promote condensing the flue gases.
