Single zone radiant thermostat.

I have a Sensi DT75 thermostat with the RH/RC jumpered. I had a second plug in transformer wired in. Forgot to take a picture when I pulled it apart.

I have run a new 4 wire thermostat wire down to the pump(taco) and 24 volt transformer by the pump.

I would ask how you would wire the two wires from the pump to the transformer and then the wires to the Sensi.

I think my problem is the jumper bewteen the RH/RC . I mught have previously just wired the two wires from the second wall wart transformer to the C wire on the thermostat.

Yes, I know. Never take something apart before you take a picture of how it was before.

I could play with it until I get it right but I am hoping those who do this more then every 5 , 10 or 20 years can offer some help.

I did the original radiant heating install, including pump and wiring a two line thermostat and the change to the smart thermostat but now want all the wires in the wall. I am a 65 years women and I would prefer to spend less time in the crawlspace if I can. :)

    Hello painterswife,

For heat only, at the thermostat you probably only need RH, C, W connected, don't think the other of the wire end would go to the pump, rather a relay box, control box or a zone valve. Pictures of your actual equipment would help.

I will try to get pictures later though it might have to wait until tommorrow

I have a Taco circulation pump that plugs in ( not hard wired). It has two wires that I believe can go to a line voltage thermostat or to a transformer to step down the voltage.

    I have a hardwired 24Vac transformer.

No relaythat I know of, No zone valve, No control box.

Maybe that extra info will help.

I have the same setup for a different zone but hooked to a Wyze thermostat that has no jumper wire between RC and RH. That system works fine using the plug in transformer.
