Old radiator bleeder valve

Hi old radiator here...how do you bleed a valve like this? It looks like there is a hole at the end but there isn't a hole there...

That is a manual bleeder for hot water heat and requires a radiator key, which is square and fits over the end. It should be available at a good hardware store. Turn it to the left and air/water will come out of the spout at the bottom.

You need what they used to refer to as a "skate key"

All of the valve stems that i saw that use a key have some sort of hole or indent for the key to go into with a square piece inside...this one doesn't have that..

It has the square part, it just doesn't have a rim around it. You could change it with a new valve if you are having issues with it.
