System 2000 flashing 100 degree intermittently

So I came across the 100 degree flashing code and I was able to replace the existing sensor with a digital along with the special included board etc. system will run as usual but after about 2 days it will flash 100 again and just run the circulator with no burner.

Check everything that I could think of and I'm stumped.

Any ideas ?

Check the connections, although you probably have.

I believe EK monitors this site and may post with more information.

Since they (EK) do not give you a divide and conquer method you are almost force down the road of replacing the sensor assembly again, to see what happens. Well knowing the Energy Manager / Digital Manager itself may be the problem. I suspect they are using a DS18B20 Digital temperature sensor or something similar. This type of sensor has a complicated communications method and sends a digital message containing the temperature data to the Energy Manager / Digital Manager, when that data appears to be missing or erroneous the Energy Manager / Digital Manager is unhappy.

The sensor you have could actually be our new sensor. Is it silver in color at the bulb? If so this is a regular ten-thousand-ohm thermistor that can be tested. Theres actually 2 sensing devises inside that type of sensor that can be tested. The red card you have installed is designed to adapt the new sensor to the older style managers.

The 100 flash does indicted a failed sensor But can also be the interpreter card or the manager as well.
