Miller Furnace
I have a Miller oil furnace in the garage with a miller gun which came with the property, and I'm trying to get it up and running.
Here's what I've done so far:
Replaced the primary control (no power initially).
Cleared the fuel line and bled the system.
Set the thermostat to call for heat.
The furnace sounds like it wants to start, but it trips out. It looks like I'm not getting fuel to the bleeder valve on the pump when I tried to bleed the line.
I took apart the motor to check the coupling—it looks good, with no visible wear. When I removed the pump, the shaft showed no damage, but I noticed a slight whining noise when I manually rotated the pump.
Would it be safe to assume the pump is bad? Or is there something else I should check before replacing it? Any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated!
If I decide to switch out the miller gun for Beckett which models would fit?
Thanks in advance!

Can you see the oil mist thru the little view hole above the boiler when it tries to fire?
If yes, Does the transformer produce spark?
