Simple Control For Hydronic Coil Discharge Temperature
I have an outdoor air intake with a hydronic heating coil in the air stream. I have a variable hot water supply temperature entering the coil. I am looking for a simple control solution that can modulate a control valve based on the discharge air temp off the coil. The temp would be set for ~70*F.
This can be self actuating or using electro-mechanical means. Thanks in advance!

TRV with a remote sensor bulb in the air stream.
Won't be fast or accurate but simple

I'm thinking along those lines. Presumably when you say "modulate" you don't mean turn on and off but turn to intermediate values.
Is the valve there already? Or does the solution have to include a valve?

A Penn/Johnson A350 modulating control and a control valve with a Belimo actuator. The control will output a 0-10v or 4-20ma signal. They are fully adjustable with a wide range. not the cheapest way but as close to 100% foolproof as you can get.
