    That's how the Fire sprinkler shops make a solid profit: The pipe comes prefabbed & marked. A 638 B Shop Tech makes about 2/3rds less than an A Journeyman. Mad Dog

    A 141 mounted on a #300 using the close coupled method works really good. You leave the threader mounted on the 300 so no lifting it up and down. I used to use the driveshaft over to a pipe vise and I have tried driving it with a 700.

    The close coupled drive is the best. Less wear and tear on the old body.
