A 141 mounted on a #300 using the close coupled method works really good. You leave the threader mounted on the 300 so no lifting it up and down. I used to use the driveshaft over to a pipe vise and I have tried driving it with a 700.
The close coupled drive is the best. Less wear and tear on the old body.
