Viessmann A2WHP installation part 2
All piped up from outdoor to indoor module. I put a plate HX between the buffer and module to eliminate glycol in the buffer and my entire system. It does cost one more circulator.
One leak on the bargin priced stainless ell. Off to the wholesale house.
The sight glass may be too cumbersome to insulate. I have enough unions to service or replace piping components.
Next step piping from HX to buffer. Buffer to system and boiler backup.

Will you pipe your buffer in series with the system piping? Seems like you’ll fly through 20 gallons in no time.
A thoroughly nice home for your model cars.8.33 lbs./gal. x 60 min./hr. x 20°ΔT = 10,000 BTU's/hour

The loads will be piped as a 2 pipe buffer tank.

Looking really good so far. Looking forward to seeing it completed.

So, you will have a buffer tank with a feed from the heat pump and another feed from the boiler?
