Unicell oil forced air furnace

I have a Unicell oil forced air Furnace

Model #OBUA67-D3S it is about 23 years old. It has a Beckett gun.

I had to fix the end plate on the gun it was cracked and messing up the air/ fuel mixture causing soot to build up in the chimney and inside the steel drum (fire chamber) . Also I am replacing the electrodes. The problem I am experiencing is there is a (for a lack of a better term) cotton like cylinder that goes into the steel drum ( the gun goes into the cylinder). I believe the flame goes in there and it is some sort of defuser. This Cotton like cylinder fell apart it was very brittle. I am looking for that part. The problem is I have looked online and cannot find anything on this brand furnace or any of its parts. My friend who is an HVAC guy is going to bring the old one to his wholesaler to see if they can get one. He also told me that he doesn’t think Unicell is in business anymore.hopefully you can help me find out where to get the part I need to fix it.

Thank You!

The supply house should be able to help you. I think Beckett makes that air tub insulator.

If you can't find one or the OD is not what you need you could use fiber rope available at the same supply house.

This is in no way DIY. You shouldn't be getting any advise on how to blow up your house. Find a capable oil burner tech, AND chimney company who has the correct tools to do what needs to be done. Please stop. You're not qualified.
