Hyrdostat 3250 Plus Temp Display Flickering

I just installed the Hyrdostat 3250 Plus to replace an old Aquastat on my Burnham 240k BTU hydronic boiler. I opted for wall mount since the space is tight on the side of the boiler and I wanted the ability to adjust the settings easily if needed.

I confirmed the unit is grounded by testing between L1 and GRD and it shows 120V on my multimeter. It's also using the Thermowell for LWCO functionality which is working correctly. The only issue is a slight flicker on the temp display. I'm wondering if this is normal or should I replace the unit? The flickering you see in the video is exactly how it appears in real life.

Thanks for your help!

Pacient: “Doctor, my shoulder hurts whenever I hold my hand up like this”

Dr. : “Don't hold your hand up like that”

Stop looking at the display. it is just fine.

After you make that expensive repair and you still have the same problem, What will you check next?

Probably just a poor job of multiplexing the display. Probably normal for that unit.

They don't call it a "Dynamic Display" for nothing. If you put on the Wizard of Oz, and start the Hydrostat at the 3rd roar from the MGM Lion, you'll be in for a real treat.
