Replacing Spartan Thermostat and Switch with Auto switching Ecobee?
Hi,
I'm moving into a condo complex that his this system. This is located in the living room. From what I can understand, the thermostat doesn't auto switch between cooling and heating. In order to switch, I have to use the switch (located to right of thermostat). I'm wondering if it's possible to use an ecobee or something else to combine it all into one unit, so it can auto switch between heating and cooling.
The other bedrooms have their own thermostats as well, so I'm hoping I could replace those.

If this is what you have, we'd need a lot more info.
Are the others the same controller, but no switch?
I've heard some wild stories about condo rules, so would you need approval from some board?
Without knowing what's doing what, there's no way to say if an Ecobee, or a plethora of Ecobees will work. It shows either 24 vac, or 10 vdc. If it's using 10 vdc for modulating, then no Ecobee.
