On every maintenance I do I check and pump back up (or replace) the expansion tank. For what it's worth I do find a higher rate of failure with Amtrol tanks, and when they don't fail they always lose more pressure then other tanks. I tried an Amtrol Pro series #30 tank at home, so far so good. At work we have had better luck with Watts tanks.
