A bad run is one thing but tired of these tanks not holding the charge. Think the bad tank would have purged themselves out of the system by now.

Clients are asking.. "Hey, didn't we just replace that?"

    They should be piped , down and wet …. You could also try pumping them back up …

    On every maintenance I do I check and pump back up (or replace) the expansion tank. For what it's worth I do find a higher rate of failure with Amtrol tanks, and when they don't fail they always lose more pressure then other tanks. I tried an Amtrol Pro series #30 tank at home, so far so good. At work we have had better luck with Watts tanks.

    As soon as you touch that schrader valve under the "eyeball" your doomed. Just repalce it.
