Path to become Licensed Master Plumber in New Jersey State-Resource-Need Expert Advise
Hello All…
I have been member of this forum quite a few years. I have learned lot from this Forum and Industry Expert here .
Thank you all whoever contributing here their expertise and knowledge.
I just wanted to ask about the what could be the path for the person who wanted to become a license Master plumber in NJ state? I read about the 4 year apprenticeship program + 1 year work under master plumber + test and practical exam etc. for tritonal path to get Master Plumber licensing exam .
I am reading through New jersey state licensing board requirements and there is one clause for Bachelor's degree in mechanical, plumbing or sanitary engineering +1 year as a licensed Journeyman.
I am interested to get more information regarding this path…What is the next step for the bachelor mechanical engineer who have decent field experience for plumbing trade but wanted to pursue the Master Plumber license.?
Who/ where could he join as a journeyman plumber to fulfil the second requirements for 1 year work under licensed master plumber.?
Also what is the resource to get the test prep for the final test(theoretical and practical both)
Any help/information regarding these questions and more details greatly appreciated.
Thank you in Advance!
