007e with solid white light

I know a flashing white light is air working through but does anybody know what a solid white light is. There's nothing in the literature about it so I guess it means replace the pump (with a grundfos)

System (energy kinetics) was full and purged - no air issues

Check to see if the circ is powered and calling for heat. When I see a white light on a 00e circ, there is forced flow from another zone turning the impeller. Since the rotor is a magnet, it can create a small electrical charge and power the light on the circ. Double check that the check valve is installed ina zone pump system

Could it be in it's final days? Is someone saying "Go To the LIGHT"? Is it close to Halloween and I'm making LIGHT of it? (Pun Intended)

After you make that expensive repair and you still have the same problem, What will you check next?

Energy kinetics resolute that the customer just paid big money for three years ago. (Package unit, no other pumps pin wheeling the impeller)

Recycled the power, ran orange for 5 or 6 seconds then went to solid white again.

Ed knows what a soot master is - maybe we should both head towards the light:)

Thanks Dave H that makes sense. I wonder, do you think, that there would be enough flow by gravity circulation to spin it fast enough?

There's no flow check installed on EK's I think they want to keep things moving in that jelly roll.

There is issues with the power connections on these circs. I wonder if it lost power and then the ferris wheel kept spinning the impeller?

Thanks for your insight - i was just wondering about it. I like to have decisive answers on my exit interview with customers.

Anyway it got replaced with another 007e and as usual the field techs are tap dancing with the customer over something that the OEM's know about but won't recall.

Something happened, not sure from here. We would have to dive into the circuit board and software to find the error. this is not a normal light feature.

Usually when the circ goes into SureStart (air or dirt), it flashes white or white red and then back to orange.

If there is an error with the circ that cannot correct itself, the circ shuts off and the light turns a solid red.

We at Taco would like to analyze this circ and find out whats up. Please contact me or any of the other Taco personnel

    Thanks

@Sootmaster when you get a chance, could you email me at jszwed@energykinetics.com We would like to do what we can to help get that 007e into Taco's hands so they can determine what happened to it.

    Thanks,
