Oiling a 3-piece Taco 110 circulator
Hi, two questions about my Taco 110 circulator:
Instructions say: "Re-oil pump and motor annually with SAE No. 30 oil."
- Ok but does it come pre-oiled? Meaning I would start oiling next year, not right now.
- I've read I have to oil in 3 spots, but I only see 1 port, located on the bracket assembly?
Also, it's confusing that the label says motor is permanently lubricated. Any guidance is appreciated, just a homeowner trying to make sure this thing is happy. Attached a few pics of pump. Thank you.

yes, motors used to be wicking type lubrication which was one of the reasons Taco recommended horizontal installation only. However, motors now are equipped with permanent lubricants for motor, which explains why motor does not have oil ports.
Bracket assembly does require a couple drops of oil a year for trouble free operation.

Thanks to you both. Any recommendation on where I can get a little can of SAE 30 oil, maybe with a little spout?
